Imagine my surprise when I saw on the news how the Obama campaign has decided to stop granting interviews with a Florida news station (WFTV).  It appears they are doing it because they didn't like the questions.  As an Obama supporter I am very disappointed. The senator is trying to become President of the United States and he is going to shy away from a reporter asking questions he doesn't like?  The questions were legitimate.  If you haven't seen the interview I have posted it on Denise's blog. What do you think?

I also found the interview and the aftermath disappointing.  I supported Hillary in the primaries, but I have supported Obama since he won the nomination.  I find it rather disturbing that he doesn't want to take questions on positions that are not popular with a lot of voters.  I want my elected officials to be able to support the positions they take since it is the responsibility for the press and the citizens of this country to question their positions.  The media in general has given Senator Obama a free pass for the most part and when a reporter questions those positions he says no more.  The reporter was doing her job and and doing it well.  Kudos the reporter.  Thumbs down for the Senator.

I was disappointed with that.  I was also disappointed with his commercial last night.  A lot of self promotion.

I'll be honest.  I've never voted before, so today was a little extra special for me.  I supported Obama in the beginning and even about the middle of the race.  There's a few of things that he is for that mean a lot to me such as: the new direction for energy and going green, fuel efficient cars and hybrid technology, and giving tax breaks to companies that keep their jobs in the United States.  As important as those things are to me, i feel there are substantial holes in his theories.  Other than that, my opinion of him changed when i started realizing exactly what he wants to do with the country.  There's a bunch of his policies I disagree with too.  The fact that the media seems to want this guy elected so bad, and that he has quite frankly marketed himself with sheer spending power is also a major turn off to me.  After that, all the other stuff just kinda fell into place.  So yea, I'm disappointed with Obama.  But no matter what, to each his own.  Today will be in the history books no matter what.  Hope you were able to be a part of it.
