I saw on Denise's Blog this morning , a video with Barck Obama talking about redistribution of wealth and this disturbs me.  I believe in helping those who need help, but this basically penalizes anyone who works hard and succeeds.  This seems to me to be going in the wrong direction.  With this kind of plan you don't leave much incentive for individuals or companies to want to grow and hire workers.

I don't like this plan as well.  It just doesn't sit right with me.  I guess I am to much of a moderate.

I agree, i don't like this plan at all.  It's great to help out those less fortunate and all, but i can think of at least 5 people i know right now that are getting "help" from the system that do need it, but could be doing more for themselves.  Redistributing the wealth is a great concept, but it is abused far too much.  What we need is to promote good competition.  That's what made this country great to begin with.

I saw the post on Denise's Blog this morning about the interview with the Obama campaigner who was defensive about supporting this position.  If they are unwilling to talk about this with the reporter it would seem they are not that comfortable with either.
