A police officer shot a woman dead.  Someone else was charged with her murder and found guilty.  How come?

Clue: The policeman did not shoot the woman deliberately.

This was a real case.  The police officer did shoot the woman.  She was taken hostage after a robbery and shootout did ensue.  The court decided the robber was guilt, not the police officer.

You are correct Tony.  How did you know it was a real case?
